These are romanescu, a kind of vegetable that's half way between broccoli and cabbage. The heads are amazingly self-similar, from the overall pyramid shape down to the tiniest components of the florets. I didn't count, but I'm also pretty sure there's a Fibonacci thing going on with the arrangement of the buds.
